THE POWER OF NATURE

The power of Nature

Most fires in Australia have drowned

Animals are roaming freely about

The air is fresher now than it has been for years

Beautiful creatures from their caves have begun to appear

People are bonding like never before

Under the roof of their comfortable homes

Yet everyone is panicking about the virus

Saying. "This the end. This is ridiculous."

But we must also look at

The things that are being taught to us by that, 

Little virus which we all have come to fear

Because it has spread here and there and everywhere

Birds are chirping happily

Whilst the bears are roaming about freely

The mother of all the creatures, our Earth

Is  telling us that, henceforth

we must remember, 

The Earth is not home only to us

But millions of creatures tiny and robust

She is telling us to be cautioned and wary

And showing to us that she is mighty

That a little virus of hers can kill us all

And her powers with which she can make tragedies befall

She is showing to us that we are trivial

and our crimes to us are being revealed

the havoc we have wrecked, the lives which have come to an end

Those animals and birds uncountable

their slaughters which we have done unpronounceable

She is showing to us who is the  master

and that all creatures be it a son or a daughter

Are equally important and matter to her.

She is reminding us that we are guests'

who stay here and rest 

Then we all die someday

But she lives on, Night and day

To give us a life, some food, and care

 From this pandemic, we must learn

That this earth is home to all, and we must show others concern

We must ensure that other creatures too are safe and sound

or else we will dig our own graves

and mother nature will wipe us all out.
