STUFFED GARLIC BREAD!!!!

My personal favourite <3

So what will you need?
  • 1 cup of refined flour
  • 1/3 cup of lukewarm water
  • 1 tsp of yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • a dozen or so pieces of garlic
  • two cubes of processed cheese
  • salt, chilli powder, oregano, chilli flakes ( you may also add pepper )
  • cilantro/coriander, 1/3 cup
  • 1/2 cup butter ( molten )
  • 1/3 cup of milk powder

Step 1: Dough

  • Take the lukewarm water mentioned above and add to it the tsp of yeast and tbsp of sugar. Then whisk it till no sugar particles remain visible
  • Then to it add the cup of flour and the milk powder  along with some salt, and oregano
  • Then mix everything together to form a doughball
  • Coat this doughball with oil, massage for a minute
  • Form a sphere and place it in an bowl ( coated with oil ) and coat the sphere itself with some oil
  • Let it rest for a minimum of 30 mins

Step 2: Make the " butter "
  • Pour the melted butter into a bowl and add a tsp of chilli powder, chilli flakes and oregano. Also, add 1/2 tsp of salt. You can add whatever you like here, but I personally like the flavour of the above-mentioned ingredients together
  • Take the coriander and garlic, wash them well, and chop them into fine small pieces.
CAUTION: TAKE CARE WHEN USING KNIFE OR SUCH SHARP OBJECTS
  • Now add the chopped stuff to the melted butter concoction
  • Mix well

Step 3 : Preparing the bread
  • Sprinkle flour on a flat surface and place your dough ball
  • Take a rolling pin and roll out an almost circle. Note that the rolled out dough should be at least 0.5 - 1 cm thick
  • Now take a brush, and brush on some of the butter that we made before. Be generous, we love a flavourful burst of taste
  • Grate the two cubes of cheese and add it on top but keep it on the left side
  • Now, gently hold the right side of the dough crust thing and put it over the cheese, like a flap, so that now we have a semi-circle, and in between the two ' flaps ' there is cheese. (almost like a taco ). Now you have the garlic bread ready to be baked.
  • On the top facing you, add any butter that is left and put some more oregano or any other seasoning you wish
Step 4: "Bake"
  • Take a bowl - bowl 1
Please note that this bowl will be put over a fire and therefore should be able to withstand that temperature. Do not use microwave bowls or thin metal bowls.
  • Now coat this bowl well with oil or add baking sheet
  • Very gently transfer your garlic bread into this bowl
  • Make not very deep cuts in the bread, to help in easy slicings later on
  • Take a bigger kadhai ( as we call it ) ( bowl 2 ), or one of those wide and deep vessels and put a metal small stand in it
     (must look somewhat like this)
  • Take the bowl 1 and place it on this stand in bowl 2
  • cover the bowl 2 with a lid
  • Heat this setup using a low flame for 30 -45 mins and your done!!!!
  • note the picture inserted above is for the setup, not for how the garlic bread looks. This is a picture from when I made sweet bread with this setup

I know this might have gotten confusing guys, but when you try it out, it is actually very very simple. And of course delish!
