   RECIPES FROM QUARANTINE KITCHEN

Have any of you craved for a pizza or maybe a moist chocolate cake recently? Well, I sure have. And during this time even if I want that cheesy pizza and that heavenly chocolate cake for dessert, I cannot risk ordering it from a restaurant. So, here I am, with the easiest way to make a pizza and an oreo cake, supplies for which you can find lying around your house or in any shop which is still open. It is quick, easy to make and if you don't cook or are bad at it, you can start with this recipe which is so easy!!!!! So let's begin.
1.PIZZA
This pizza is so easy and tastes so great. And the best part? You choose the toppings, the sauce, the cheese type, etc!!!!!!!!
 You will  need:
-1 cup all-purpose flour                                         
-1/2 cup curd/ plain  yogurt
-salt as taste
-3-4 tbsp sweet and spicy sauce/pizza sauce/tabasco(mixed with ketchup to dilute the spice)
-2 cubes of cheese, grated(actually, you can go crazy with it)
-chopped veggies (I used 1 medium tomato, 1 medium onion and 1 chilly)
-corn/mushroom/paneer/tofu/meat of your choice (In this I used sauteed paneer)      


Method:
First let's prepare the dough.
-Take a good-sized bowl and pour into it 1 cup of the flour
-Then add the curd/yogurt (
-1/2 teaspoon of salt 
-oregano(optional)
Then just mix everything together and knead for about 10-15 minutes
Let it sit for some time. Meanwhile, chop the vegetables
Use adult supervision while working with a knife.
-1 tomato finely chopped
-1 onion finely chopped
-1 chilly cut into pieces
After this take a rolling pin and spread some flour over a flat surface. Place your dough here and use the rolling pin to make a circle-ish shape. ( My crust is never a perfect circle, but yours can be!! )
Next step onwards, we work on the toppings.
1.Pizza Sauce
Take any sauce you want (I used chilly tomato), mix it with some salt, oregano and chilly flakes (optional) and spread it evenly across the base
2.Cheese
Now take one cube of cheese and grate it. Place it evenly across the base. You can use any type of cheese
3.Veggie Toppings
Take your previously chopped vegetables and put 'em on the pizza. (Remember that you can put any vegetables you want. You don't need to put exactly what I put.)
4.Special Ingredient
You can add salami pieces, boneless chicken, sausages, corn, mushroom, tofu or paneer( which will require previous cooking). The best option is, frozen food, like salami, which you can fry and it is ready to use.
5.More cheese
Add some more grated cheese on top and your pizza is ready to be cooked.
Cooking the pizza
Use adult supervision while handling fire
All you need to do is carefully place the pizza on a pan, turn on the flame at low-medium and cover the pan with a lid. Let it cook for 15 minutes precisely (else the crust becomes soggy or hard).
Caution: The pan, the lid, and the pizza is hot.
And there you go, an all-time favorite dish, prepared in less than an hour, including prep time, with custom toppings.....

2.THE OREO CAKE

Since making the pizza may have taken about 30-45 minutes and after the burst of flavor, you might want some sweet, I have the perfect cake recipe, which is easier than the pizza (Can you believe that???)
You will need
-sugar as per taste 
-baking soda/baking powder
-about 15 Oreos
-few tablespoons of milk
                                                                        
Method:                                      
-grind the Oreos into fine powder in the mixer   
-put it into a bowl                                            
-add the milk (the exact amount can't be told. It varies. Use as much needed for a viscous, smooth, almost honey-like thickness)
-mix it all together until well blended
-taste the mixture and then add sugar as needed/ if needed
-add 2 pinches of baking powder or baking soda
-mix until the required consistency is obtained
Caution: Use a microwave-safe bowl only.I have used a microwave at 900 watts. Plop the mixture into a microwave-safe bowl and put it in the oven for 3-5 minutes. After 3 minutes, use a toothpick to check if further baking is required.
Remove the bowl from the microwave. Caution: It is very hot.
There you go, your cake is ready. Serve it with vanilla ice cream or eat it as it is...
